After two years of virtual meetings and events, Northwest Cherry Growers will hold their annual five-state commission meeting in person on Wednesday May 18th at the Red Lion in Richland, WA. B.J. Thurlby, President of Northwest Cherry Growers said after two years on-line and the odd spring weather the PNW has seen, it will be good to meet face to face.

“But, that’s a big meeting just to last touch base to say ‘here we are, here’s our crop, here’s our promotion strategy, and let’s go!’. And it’s one of the most important meetings we do throughout the 12-months of the year.”

Thurlby noted they are working to make portions of the five-state virtual for people unable to visit the Tri-Cities. The meeting gets underway at 10:30 a.m.
