WSU is hosting a workshop on January 4th in Pullman that will address the issue of soil acidity in the Palouse area.

 

Presentations on soil pH and its effects on soil health, remediating soil acidity with lime, along with panel discussions will all be part of the event that starts at 8:00 a.m.

 

Soil acidity is a new challenge for producers in the Palouse and is becoming a growing concern for the Northwest region.
