Last week, Virginia Tech released an annual report that indicates the agriculture industry is behind the needed pace to meet the world’s food needs in the year 2050. The 2021 Global Agricultural Productivity Report said global productivity growth needs to accelerate at all production scales to meet consumers’ needs and address the current and future threats to human and environmental well-being.
