WSU Launches Sunrise Magic
Washington State University’s first apple variety, WA 2, has been named Sunrise Magic and will be released through partnership with Proprietary Variety Management.   Cristy Warnock of PVM said they wanted to involve consumers early on for the branding, “To make sure that they have an emotional attachment to the brand name and that they are going to like the apple variety at the end of the day too.
