One down…four to go in 2022, following the first in person Agricultural Trade Mission in two years, earlier this year, in Dubai.

“We’ll sponsor four additional Trade Mission in 2022," Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack said last week during the Commodity Classic in New Orleans.

“We’ll travel to the U.K. and London in June, we’ll go to the Philippines and Southeast Asia in July, we’ll travel to Kenya in October and to Spain in November.”

The secretary explained the importance of these trade missions in the wake of a record Ag export year in 2021 and projected record export numbers this year.

“The keys to trade, I think, are presence, people and promotions.”
