It’s a sign that spring is just around the corner for the Northwest.  Booker's Equipment Auction will take place this Saturday in Eltopia.  Hundreds of items from swathers to tractors to dump trucks will be available for auction this week.  One of the most significant changes to this year’s auction, moving the miscellaneous and small items selling on-line.  Camille Booker told the Washington Ag Network this will make Saturday’s auction more user friendly.

“This miscellaneous row is huge, if you drove in you saw that it goes all the way down the fence line and having an auction ring selling it all day long takes a lot of time and we think people’s time is precious, and they don’t want to wait for that $100 item to be sold at 4 p.m.

She added this new format will allow the bidder to go on-line and participate now, and reserve Saturday for the bigger ticket items.  And what are some of the items this year that will draw the most attention?

“I think the overall interest in semi-trucks and trailers from the quantity that we have and the quality of trucks and trailers I think that will be one of the hot ticket items," said Austin Booker.  "These late model tractors always have an interest as we move into this early farming season.”

You can start bidding on the smaller items now On-Line.  Saturday’s auction gets underway at 9 a.m.
