WAIC Receives Grant From Mid-Columbia Ag Hall of Fame

In an effort to promote Ag Literacy and engage youth in agriculture, the Mid-Columbia Ag Hall of Fame has awarded Washington Ag in The Classroom with a $1,250 grant.  The funds from the “Cultivating our Future” grant will be used to produce the 2017-18 editions of Ag@School, an eight page color magazine with ag related, fact based activities, lessons and much more.  The booklet is aligned with Washington State education requirements, and  can be used to fulfill state requirements in Science, Math, Geography, Literature and much more.

WAIC’s Lisa Avery says they are excited to receive these funds, and look forward to spreading the message of agriculture.
